What to test during the month

A trial only helps if you use it to answer the questions that matter. Before the month runs out, check:

1. The channels you actually watch. Search for them by name in your app. If a single channel is the reason you are buying, this is the moment to confirm it.
2. Peak-time performance. Watch during the evenings and weekends, when you would normally watch. A stream that plays fine on a Tuesday morning tells you little.
3. Your real devices. Set the login up on the TV, box or phone you plan to keep using, not just the most convenient one.
4. Your connection at 4K. If your connection can't carry 4K, you'll see it here. Lower-quality streams still play, but you should know which you'll get.
5. The on-demand library. Browse the movie and series sections for a few titles you want to watch.

If everything holds up, you've learned what you needed to know before a longer plan. If it doesn't, you've spent the least it costs to find out.

If the month doesn't go well

Write down what went wrong and when. A stream that buffers only at peak times, a missing channel and an app that won't accept the login are different problems. If it's the login itself that stops working, that's a warranty case: open a Discord ticket with your payment ID. If the service simply isn't what you hoped, let the month run out and don't renew. You've lost the price of one month and nothing more.

How one month compares with the longer plans

Each step up lowers the cost per month. Buying one month at a time over a whole year costs noticeably more than the 12-month plan. So treat this plan as the first month, not the long-term arrangement, unless you only ever watch in short bursts.

• Highest monthly cost. Convenience is what you pay for. Monthly renewals add up quickly.
