The trade-offs to weigh

The warranty is 90 days, the plan is twelve months. If the account stops working in the first 90 days for a reason you didn't cause, it gets replaced. After that, it isn't covered. That's the most important limit of this product, and the reason to keep your own backups.

It's not your existing workspace. Your current Notion pages stay on your current account. To use Plus with them, you'd move content into the new workspace. Notion has export and import tools, but large workspaces with linked databases take some effort to move.

Back up what you build. Since the account wasn't created by you, keep regular exports of anything important. If something goes wrong after the warranty period, you still have your work.

Don't share the login. The warranty is void if credentials are shared with other people.

Moving content into the new workspace

If you already use Notion, you'll want your pages in the Plus workspace. There are two common ways to do it.

Share and duplicate. For a handful of pages, invite the new account to them from your old workspace, then duplicate them into the new one. This keeps formatting and most database structure intact.

Export and import. For a whole workspace, export from your old account and import the result into the new one. It works, but relations between databases and some page links may need tidying afterwards. Plan an hour for a large workspace, and check the pages you rely on most before deleting anything from the old account.

Keep the old workspace for a while either way. It's on the free plan and costs nothing.

Who it suits

• Solo users who keep hitting the 5 MB upload cap, or who want 30 days of page history and charts.
• Freelancers who share pages with lots of clients. Free caps external guests at 10; Plus removes the cap.
• Small projects starting fresh, where moving an existing workspace isn't an issue.

It's a weak fit if you mainly want Notion AI (Plus only includes a trial), if your workspace is large and long-established, or if your team needs several paid members. Notion prices Plus per member, and this is one pre-made account.

If none of the Plus features above are things you're running into, stay on Free. It costs nothing and your notes stay on your own account.
