AdGuard Family Lifetime: Nine Devices for One Payment
AdGuard Family Lifetime covers nine devices for one payment. Here is how it works for a household, what it costs per device and what the warranty covers.
AdGuard Family Lifetime is for a household: two adults, maybe kids, and the usual pile of phones, laptops and tablets. It covers nine devices on one licence with no renewal. Ours costs €60 once, against a listed retail of €170, a saving of 65%. AdGuard's own lifetime Family price in Australia is A$296.95 including GST, as of October 2026.
Per device, it costs about half what the Personal licence does. That per-device figure is the angle that matters here, because it is where Family pulls ahead of buying Personal licences one at a time.
What the Family licence includes
- Nine devices. AdGuard's Family licence covers up to nine devices, against three on Personal.
- Lifetime terms. No yearly charge. AdGuard's yearly Family licence is A$118.14 in Australia, so even at AdGuard's own prices the lifetime version pays for itself within three years.
- A premade AdGuard account holding the licence. Nobody in the household has to share their own login with us.
- A 90-day warranty, covering the licence if it stops working within 90 days for a reason you didn't cause.
AdGuard says its licences work on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. The paid apps block ads and trackers in browsers and apps, warn about phishing and malware sites, and include parental controls, which is the feature families tend to care about most.
All we need to process the order is your Discord or Telegram username.

Family costs more than Personal here, but covers three times the devices. If you would otherwise need two Personal licences to cover everyone, Family is cheaper and still leaves spare slots.
Setting it up for a household
- Choose Family Lifetime on the AdGuard page and pay by card or crypto. PayPal and direct crypto wallet payments go through a Discord ticket.
- Enter your Discord or Telegram username.
- Most orders are delivered within 0–24 hours. Check your order page for progress.
- Install AdGuard on each device and sign in with the account details you receive.
- Keep a list of which nine devices are using it. When a device is replaced, remove the licence from it in the app or the AdGuard account before activating the new one. That's AdGuard's own process for moving a licence.
One person should hold the login and do the setup. The account is shared within your home by design, but the login itself shouldn't travel further than that.
Parental controls
AdGuard lists parental control among its features, blocking harmful content and inappropriate websites. If that is the reason you're buying Family, set up AdGuard on the children's devices first and configure the controls there, then add the adults' devices.
When Family is more than you need
Family isn't automatically the better buy. If it really is one person with a laptop and a phone, six of the nine slots sit empty, and Personal Lifetime covers you for less. The tipping point is the fourth device, or the second person. Once either applies, Family is the cheaper way to cover everyone.
Limits and risks
Lifetime licence, 90-day warranty. The licence doesn't expire, but our replacement cover ends after 90 days. After that, a problem with the licence is not replaced.
Household use only. Nine devices is a household allowance, not a group buy. Sharing the login outside your household voids the warranty.
Premade account. We created the account. Don't reuse its password anywhere else.
Final sale. AdGuard offers 30 days' money back when you buy direct; ours are refunded only if the order can't be delivered.
Not a VPN. AdGuard blocks ads, trackers and harmful sites. It doesn't hide anyone's IP address.
Frequently asked questions
Can different family members use different operating systems?
Yes. AdGuard says its licences are universal across Windows, macOS, Android and iOS, so one licence can cover a mix of devices up to the nine-device limit.
What happens if we go over nine devices?
AdGuard limits the licence to nine devices. Free up a slot by removing the licence from a device you no longer use, in the app or the AdGuard account.
Do I need Family if it's just me with lots of devices?
If you have more than three devices, yes. Family is the only option we sell that covers more than three.
Does each person need their own AdGuard account?
No. Every device signs in to the same premade account that holds the licence.
Is Family Lifetime still worth it if we only use six devices?
Probably. Six devices would need two Personal licences, which cost more than one Family licence here.
For both licences compared, read the AdGuard buying guide.
