Cheap AdGuard Lifetime Licence in 2026: Personal vs Family

AdGuard's lifetime licences cover 3 or 9 devices with no renewal. Here is what our premade Personal and Family lifetime accounts include and which one to pick.

AdGuard is one of the few ad blockers still sold with a pay-once lifetime licence. Buying direct in Australia, the lifetime Personal licence for 3 devices is A$142.95 and the lifetime Family licence for 9 devices is A$296.95, both including GST, as of October 2026. The yearly versions are A$52.14 and A$118.14.

SpandyUpgrades sells both lifetime licences on premade AdGuard accounts: Personal at €40 and Family at €60. There is nothing to renew. You sign in to the AdGuard apps with the account you receive. This guide covers what AdGuard does, what it costs direct, and how to choose between the two licences.

What AdGuard does

AdGuard's paid apps filter ads and trackers across the whole device, not just inside one browser. On Windows, for example, AdGuard lists:

  • Ad blocking for pop-ups, video ads, banners and other annoyances, in all browsers and in apps.
  • Browsing security, checking sites against a database of phishing and malware pages.
  • Tracking protection against trackers, analytics systems and third-party cookies.
  • Parental control to block inappropriate sites.

That system-wide filtering is the main reason to pay for AdGuard rather than use a free browser extension. AdGuard's own licence FAQ makes the same point: most ad blockers are browser extensions and can't remove every kind of ad, while AdGuard blocks ads in browsers and apps.

According to AdGuard, its licences are universal: one licence works across Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. A licence bought from the App Store is separate and only works on Apple devices with the same Apple ID, which doesn't affect what we sell.

AdGuard is an ad and tracker blocker, not a VPN. It doesn't hide your IP address or encrypt your traffic. The licence page also doesn't list AdGuard VPN or AdGuard DNS, so treat this as a licence for AdGuard's ad blocker apps only.

What AdGuard charges directly

AdGuard's Australian prices in Australian dollars, including 10% GST, as of October 2026:

LicenceDevices1 yearLifetime
Personal3A$52.14A$142.95
Family9A$118.14A$296.95

AdGuard shows prices in your local currency, so the figure differs by country. AdGuard offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on purchases made directly from it.

The lifetime Personal licence costs less than three years of the yearly one. If you expect to keep using an ad blocker longer than that, lifetime is the better deal even at AdGuard's own price.

The two SpandyUpgrades options

OptionPriceDevicesLengthWarranty
Personal Lifetime€403Lifetime90 days
Family Lifetime€609Lifetime90 days

Both are supplied on a premade AdGuard account, so you don't share any login with us.

Personal Lifetime: three devices, paid once

The Personal licence covers three devices, which for most people means a computer, a phone and one more. It costs €40 against our listed retail of €80, a saving of 50%. Read the Personal Lifetime guide.

Family Lifetime: nine devices for a household

The Family licence covers nine devices, enough for a couple with phones, laptops and a tablet or two. It costs €60 against €170 retail, a saving of 65%. Per device, it is the cheaper of the two. Read the Family Lifetime guide.

Which one should you pick?

  • It's just you, on a computer and a phone: Personal. Three devices leaves a spare slot.
  • You live with a partner or family and want everyone covered: Family. Two Personal licences would cost more and still give you fewer devices.
  • You aren't sure how many devices you'll need: count them now, add one, and pick the licence that fits. A licence can be moved between devices, but AdGuard caps how many use it at once.

Lifetime licence, 90-day warranty: what that means

"Lifetime" is AdGuard's licence type. It means AdGuard doesn't charge a renewal. Our warranty is a separate thing and runs for 90 days. If the licence stops working within those 90 days for a reason you didn't cause, it is replaced. After 90 days we don't replace it.

Weigh that before buying: the licence itself doesn't expire, but our cover does.

What a premade account means here

AdGuard ties a licence either to an account or to an activation code. AdGuard's own help pages describe both: sign in to the AdGuard app with the email address linked to the licence, or enter the licence key directly. Our licences come on a premade account, so you use the first route with the login we send.

In practice that changes three things:

  • You don't need your own AdGuard account, and you never hand us a password.
  • Device management happens in that account. When you replace a phone, you free its slot there or in the app before activating the new one.
  • The login is the licence. Anyone holding it can use your device slots, so keep it to your household. Sharing it further voids the warranty and eats into your three or nine devices.

If you'd rather own the licence outright in your own name, with AdGuard's 30-day refund window, buying direct from AdGuard is the way to do that. You pay AdGuard's price for it.

How ordering works

  1. Choose a licence on the AdGuard page and pay by card or crypto. PayPal and direct crypto wallet payments are handled through a Discord ticket.
  2. Enter your Discord or Telegram username. That is all we need.
  3. Most orders are delivered within 0–24 hours. Track progress on your order page.
  4. Install AdGuard on your devices and sign in with the account details you receive, under Settings → License or the equivalent screen in each app.
  5. If the licence stops working within the 90-day warranty for a reason you didn't cause, open a Discord ticket with your payment ID.

Sharing the login outside your own household voids the warranty. All sales are final; refunds are only given if the order can't be delivered. First-time buyers get 10% off.

Frequently asked questions

How many devices does each AdGuard licence cover?

AdGuard's Personal licence covers 3 devices and its Family licence covers 9. Our two options are those licences, on lifetime terms.

Can I move the licence to a new phone or computer?

Yes. AdGuard's instructions are to remove the licence from the old device, in the app or in the AdGuard account, then activate it on the new one.

Does it work on iPhone?

AdGuard says its licences work on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. On iOS, AdGuard lets you sign in to an existing licence from Settings → License inside AdGuard for iOS.

Is AdGuard a VPN?

No. AdGuard blocks ads, trackers and malicious sites. It doesn't hide your IP address. If you want a VPN as well, see our Surfshark, Proton VPN or IPVanish guides.

What happens after the 90-day warranty?

The licence keeps working as a lifetime licence. What ends is our replacement cover: if something goes wrong after 90 days, we don't replace it.

Why is it cheaper than AdGuard's own price?

Our AdGuard listing describes these licences as sold through regional pricing. What you receive is a premade AdGuard account holding the licence, rather than a licence bought in your own name.
