Canva Pro on Your Own Account for 12 Months: How the Upgrade Works
The direct Canva Pro upgrade puts a 12-month plan on your existing account. Here is what it costs, what we need from you, and when it beats the cheaper group invite.
This plan is for people who want Canva Pro on the account they already design in, with no team in between. It costs €30 for twelve months. Our listed retail price for the same year is €120, so you save €90 (75%). Canva itself charges US$144 a year for Pro in the US, as of October 2026.
It is the pricier of our two Canva options. The extra over the group invite pays for one thing: the Pro plan sits on your own account, not on a student seat in a team someone else owns.
What you get and what it needs
You get a 12-month Canva Pro upgrade applied directly to your account. Pro includes Canva's premium templates and stock library, Magic Resize, the background remover, Brand Kits, 100GB of storage and a larger AI allowance. The Canva product guide lists these in detail.
The order form asks for three things:
- Your Canva account email
- Your Canva account password
- A Discord or Telegram username so we can contact you about the order
Your Canva account must be on the free tier with no active plan. If you pay Canva for Pro today, or you are on a trial, wait until it has fully ended before ordering. A full warranty is included.

The group invite is the cheaper way in. It is also a different kind of access. Canva's education page says Canva for Education includes "most of Canva's premium features", and you join as a student under a teacher account. With this plan you don't depend on anyone else's team, and nobody can remove you from it.
That matters most when Canva is part of your work. If you design for clients or your own business, losing access for a few hours while a seat is replaced is a real cost. If you make the occasional poster, it probably isn't.
Ordering step by step
- Check your Canva account. Open account settings and confirm you are on Canva Free with no active subscription or trial.
- Go to the Canva page, pick Pro (On your acc) · 12 months, and pay by card or crypto. First-time buyers get 10% off.
- Enter your Canva email, password and your Discord or Telegram username in the order form.
- The upgrade is applied while signed in to your account. Most orders are delivered within 0–24 hours, and your order page shows the status.
- Sign in to Canva and check that Pro features are active. Then change your Canva password.
If you normally sign in to Canva with Google, Apple or Facebook and don't have a Canva password, ask on Discord before ordering. The form needs an email and password.
Limits and risks
You share a password once. That is the cost of having the plan put on your own account. Change it as soon as Pro shows up. Changing your password does not affect the upgrade.
Don't change your account region. The warranty is void if you change the account's region settings after the upgrade. Leave country and billing settings as they are for the twelve months.
It does not renew. After twelve months the account returns to Canva Free. Nothing is charged automatically, and your designs stay.
Warranty conditions. If Pro stops working for a reason you didn't cause, open a Discord ticket with your payment ID and it is replaced at no charge. The warranty does not cover a ban for breaking Canva's terms, region changes, or a login you shared with other people.
All sales are final. Refunds are only given if the order cannot be delivered, so check the free-tier requirement before you pay.
Frequently asked questions
Will my designs and Brand Kit carry over?
Your designs, folders and uploads stay where they are, because the upgrade is applied to the account they already live in. Anything you build with Pro, including Brand Kits, stays on your account for the twelve months.
I'm on a Canva Pro free trial. Can I order now?
Cancel the trial and wait for it to end first. The upgrade needs an account with no active plan, and a running trial counts as one.
Can I use this account on my phone and laptop?
Yes. It is your normal Canva account with Pro on it, so you sign in on any device the way you do now.
Can I add other people to my Pro plan?
This plan is a single-person Pro upgrade. Canva sells team features under its Business plan, which this is not.
What happens when the twelve months end?
The account drops back to Canva Free. Nothing renews or charges you. You can order another year once the plan has ended, since the account needs to be back on the free tier.
