Steam Lifetime Trio: 32K+ Games for a Group of Three
Lifetime Trio covers three players for €155. The lowest per-person price of the lifetime plans, made for a regular group of three.
Lifetime Trio covers three people, you and two friends, for €155. All three get the full Steam 32K+ Games library and can play together online on supported titles. Split three ways, it's the cheapest per person of the lifetime plans.
It's built for a fixed group: three friends who already play together most weeks. The more settled the group, the better this plan works. A group that changes often gets less out of a plan with three named players.
The tool is third-party software. Valve doesn't make, sell or endorse it, and the games it adds aren't purchased from the Steam store. For how it works and what Valve's terms say, read the main Steam guide.
What Lifetime Trio includes
From the plan note and listing:
- You plus two friends, three players in total.
- All three get the full library of 32,000+ games.
- Online play together on titles that support it, with all three players on the tool.
- Lifetime access with no expiry date, under the lifetime plan terms.
- Instructions and a setup guide for activation.
Since a licence is linked to a Steam account, each player uses their own. Ask on Discord if anything about activating all three isn't clear from the guide.
What each person pays
| Plan | Total | Players | Cost per player |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lifetime Solo | €75 | 1 | Highest |
| Lifetime Duo | €115 | 2 | Lower |
| Lifetime Trio | €155 | 3 | Lowest |
Three Solo plans would cost well over the Trio price. A Duo plus a Solo for the third person also comes out higher. If three of you will use it, Trio is the cheapest way to cover everyone.
For shorter commitments there are the 1 Day and 1 Month plans, each covering a single player.
Before a group of three buys
Getting three people to agree is the hard part. Settle these first:
- Who pays what. One person places the order, and all sales are final. Agree on the split and collect it before ordering.
- Which games you'll play together. Multiplayer only works on selected titles. If the reason you're buying is one particular game, have each person confirm it, ideally with a 1 Day test.
- Which Steam accounts. Each player decides whether to use their main account or a new one. Read the risk section below before deciding.
- What happens if someone drops out. The plan covers three players. If one stops playing, the other two still have the library, but nobody gets their share back.
Trio or Duo plus a timed plan
Sometimes the third person isn't a regular. If one friend only joins for a weekend now and then, a Lifetime Duo for the two regulars plus an occasional 1 Day plan for the third can make more sense. Once that third person is buying day plans regularly, Trio becomes the cheaper arrangement, and it saves them reordering every time.
Ordering Lifetime Trio
- Choose Steam · Lifetime Trio on the Steam 32K+ Games page.
- Pay by card or crypto at checkout. PayPal and direct wallet payments go through a Discord ticket.
- Most orders are delivered within 0–24 hours. Licence details, instructions and the setup guide arrive once fulfilled; your order page shows progress.
- Each player follows the setup guide on their own Steam account.
- Add and install the games you want to play together, then launch them from Steam. The tool doesn't need to stay open.
Risks specific to Trio
- Three accounts exposed. Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement lets Valve restrict or cancel accounts that breach it, and using this tool is a breach. Each of the three players takes that risk on their own account. A separate Steam account for each person is the safer setup, and the product FAQ suggests a new account if you want to keep this apart from your main library.
- Group play is limited to supported games. Not every title in the library works online together.
- Lifetime depends on the tool staying updated. It's updated with each Steam client update. If that stopped, all three players would be affected.
- No listed warranty, final sale. Refunds only apply if we can't deliver.
Frequently asked questions
Does each of the three players get the full library?
Yes. The plan note says all three get the full library.
Is Trio cheaper than Duo plus a Solo?
Yes. Trio costs less than a Duo and a Solo bought separately, and much less than three Solos.
Can we swap one player for someone else later?
The listing doesn't cover swapping players. Ask on Discord before ordering if your group might change.
Do all three of us need to be online to play?
No. Each player has the full library and can play alone. To play online together, every player in the session needs the tool active, on a title that supports it.
Can a fourth friend join?
Trio covers three players. A fourth person would need their own plan.
