Cheap IPVanish VPN in 2026: Essential and Advanced Accounts Compared
IPVanish renews at $99.99 a year for Essential and $129.99 for Advanced. Here is what our two premade 12-month accounts include and which one is worth it.
IPVanish prices look cheap on the first checkout and then jump. On IPVanish's own pricing page, Essential is $46.68 for the first year in US dollars, then renews at $99.99 a year. Pay monthly and it is $14.99 every month. Advanced, the top tier, renews at $129.99 a year.
SpandyUpgrades sells two cheap IPVanish VPN options: a 12-month Essential account at €30 and a 12-month Advanced account at €50. Both are premade accounts. You don't sign up or hand over any login. You receive a ready IPVanish account and sign in on your devices. This guide covers what IPVanish includes, what it costs direct, and how our two options differ.
What IPVanish includes
IPVanish is a US-based VPN owned by Ziff Davis. These are the points it publishes on its own site as of October 2026:
- Unlimited devices. Every plan, Essential included, lists unlimited simultaneous devices. One account covers your phone, laptop, TV stick and anyone else in the house.
- 3,400+ servers in 150+ locations, according to IPVanish's server page.
- Audited no-logs policy. IPVanish says its no-logs practices are independently audited every year. Its latest listed audit is April 2025 by Schellman Compliance, with earlier audits by Leviathan Security Group. It also publishes quarterly transparency reports.
- Protocols and tools: WireGuard and OpenVPN, kill switch, split tunnelling, double-hop servers, obfuscation, a SOCKS5 proxy and an ad and tracker blocker.
- Threat Protection, IPVanish's filter for malicious sites, on every plan.
- 3 GB of eSIM data on Essential and Complete, 5 GB on Advanced.
A VPN encrypts the connection between your device and the VPN server and hides your IP address from the sites you visit. It does not make you anonymous. You can still be identified by the accounts you sign in to, by browser fingerprinting, and by anything you type into a website. Treat any VPN that promises total anonymity with suspicion. IPVanish doesn't, and this guide won't either.
What IPVanish charges directly
IPVanish's global pricing page, in US dollars, as of October 2026:
| Plan | Monthly | 1-year plan, first year | Renews at |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $14.99/month | $46.68 | $99.99/year |
| Complete | $15.99/month | $57.48 | $109.99/year |
| Advanced | $17.99/month | $64.68 | $129.99/year |
There is also a 2-year plan: $57.36 for Essential, $74.16 for Complete and $86.16 for Advanced for the first two years, then the same yearly renewal prices as above. Every paid plan comes with IPVanish's 30-day money-back guarantee.
The introductory price is real, but it only applies once. From the second year, the yearly renewal is what you pay, and that is the number to compare against.
The two SpandyUpgrades options
| Option | Price | Length | What you get | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | €30 | 12 months | Premade account, VPN and Threat Protection | 90 days |
| Advanced | €50 | 12 months | Premade account, top IPVanish tier | 90 days |
We don't sell Complete. It sits between the two and mostly adds IPVanish's antivirus and phone support.
Essential: the VPN and nothing extra
Essential is the full IPVanish VPN: every server location, unlimited devices, WireGuard, kill switch, split tunnelling, Threat Protection and live chat support. It costs €30 for twelve months against our listed retail of €90. If you want a VPN and nothing else, this is the one to buy. Read the Essential guide.
Advanced: VPN plus the security suite
Advanced includes everything in Essential, plus what IPVanish lists for its higher tiers: next-gen antivirus, phone support, the Secure Browser (browser isolation, fingerprint blocking, phishing protection), 1 TB of Livedrive cloud backup and storage, and 5 GB of eSIM data in total. It is €50 for the year against €110 retail. Read the Advanced guide.
One thing to think about before buying Advanced for the cloud storage: the account was created for you, not by you. That is fine for a VPN login, but think twice before using its 1 TB as the only copy of anything private.
Which one should you pick?
- You want a VPN for streaming, public Wi-Fi or travel: Essential. The VPN itself is identical on both tiers.
- You want antivirus and an isolated browser as well, and would otherwise pay for them separately: Advanced.
- You mainly want cheap cloud storage: neither. A storage service on an account you own is the better fit.
Both options cover unlimited devices, so household size doesn't change the choice.
How ordering works
- Pick a plan on the IPVanish page and pay by card or crypto at checkout. PayPal and direct crypto wallet payments go through a Discord ticket.
- Enter your Discord or Telegram username so we can reach you. No IPVanish login is needed from you, because the account is supplied.
- Most orders are delivered within 0–24 hours. You can follow progress on your order page, and you receive the account's login details when it is ready.
- Install the IPVanish app on each device and sign in with those details.
- If the account stops working within the 90-day warranty for a reason you didn't cause, open a Discord ticket with your payment ID and it is replaced.
The warranty doesn't cover an account banned for breaking IPVanish's terms, and it is void if you share the login details outside your own use. First-time buyers get 10% off.
Frequently asked questions
Is a premade IPVanish account safe to use?
The VPN works the same way on a premade account as on one you registered yourself. The difference is ownership: the account was set up by us, so don't rely on it to store private files, and don't reuse its password anywhere else.
How many devices can I use?
IPVanish lists unlimited simultaneous devices on every plan, Essential included. Both of our options are IPVanish plans, so the same applies.
Does IPVanish keep logs?
IPVanish says it does not record browsing activity, traffic, connection details or visited sites, and that this has been independently audited, most recently by Schellman Compliance in April 2025. That is the vendor's statement and audit record. A no-logs VPN still doesn't make you anonymous to the sites you log in to.
Can I renew with you after 12 months?
Yes. When the year ends, buy another 12-month plan. It is a new premade account, so you sign out of the old one and sign in with the new details.
What does the 90-day warranty cover?
If the account stops working during the first 90 days for a reason you didn't cause, it is replaced free. After 90 days there is no replacement, even though the plan runs for twelve months. All sales are final; refunds are only given if an order can't be delivered.
Why is it cheaper than IPVanish's own price?
Our IPVanish listing describes these plans as sold through regional pricing, delivered as premade accounts. Compared with IPVanish's first-year deal the gap is smaller than the headline percentage suggests, so check the table above before deciding.
