IPVanish Essential for 12 Months: Cost, What You Get and the Catch
A year of IPVanish Essential on a premade account for €30. What the cheapest IPVanish tier includes, what it doesn't, and what the 90-day warranty means.
IPVanish Essential is for anyone who wants the VPN and nothing bundled around it. Our 12-month Essential account costs €30, against a listed retail of €90, a saving of 67%. It is a premade account: we supply the login, you install IPVanish and sign in.
For comparison, IPVanish's own monthly Essential plan is $14.99 a month in US dollars as of October 2026. Two or three months on that plan cost about as much as a full year here.
What IPVanish Essential 12 months includes
Essential is IPVanish's entry tier, but the VPN on it is the same VPN as on the top tier. IPVanish's pricing page lists, for Essential:
- the full server network (IPVanish lists 3,400+ servers in 150+ locations)
- unlimited simultaneous devices
- Threat Protection, its malicious-site filter
- the ad and tracker blocker, kill switch, split tunnelling, double-hop and obfuscation
- 24/7 live chat support
- 3 GB of eSIM data
- the no-logs policy, which IPVanish says was most recently audited by Schellman Compliance in April 2025
What Essential leaves out is the security suite: no antivirus, no Secure Browser, no phone support and no cloud storage. Those sit on the Complete and Advanced tiers.
From us, the requirements are short. You need a Discord or Telegram username for contact, and that is it. You don't create an IPVanish account and don't share any password.

The VPN rows are identical. If you were going to ignore the antivirus and the cloud drive anyway, Advanced costs more for things you won't open.
How it compares with paying IPVanish
IPVanish's 1-year Essential plan is $46.68 for the first year, then $99.99 a year. That first-year price is a one-time introductory offer, and IPVanish backs it with a 30-day money-back guarantee that we don't offer.
So the comparison has two parts. Against IPVanish's renewal price, our €30 is a large saving every year. Against the first-year deal it is a smaller one, and you give up the refund window in exchange. If you have never had IPVanish before and want a refund option, the direct intro deal is reasonable. If you are past your first year, or want to avoid an automatic renewal at $99.99, ours is the cheaper way to keep going.
Ordering and delivery
- Choose Essential · 12 months on the IPVanish page.
- Pay by card or crypto at checkout. For PayPal or a direct crypto wallet payment, open a Discord ticket instead.
- Enter your Discord or Telegram username in the order form.
- Most orders are delivered within 0–24 hours. Track progress on your order page; the account login arrives when the order is fulfilled.
- Install IPVanish on your devices and sign in. There's no device cap, so sign in everywhere you need it.
If you are already paying IPVanish on your own account, switch auto-renew off there. Our account is a separate account, not an extension of yours.
Limits to know before you buy
The warranty is 90 days, the plan is 12 months. If the account stops working within 90 days for a reason you didn't cause, it is replaced. After that, there is no replacement. Most buyers never need it, but you should know where the cover ends.
It is not your account. You can use it on as many of your own devices as you like, but the login was created by us. Don't reuse its password elsewhere and don't store anything on it that you'd mind losing.
Sharing voids the warranty. Unlimited devices means your devices and your household. Posting or reselling the login voids the cover, as does a ban for breaking IPVanish's terms.
No refunds after delivery. All sales are final. A refund is only given if the order can't be delivered.
Frequently asked questions
Is Essential enough for streaming?
The streaming-relevant parts of IPVanish (server locations, speed, protocols) are the same on every tier. Whether a particular streaming service works through any VPN changes over time on the streaming service's side, and neither IPVanish nor we can promise a specific catalogue.
Can I upgrade this account to Advanced later?
Not through us. If you think you'll want antivirus or cloud storage, buy Advanced from the start.
How many people can use one Essential account?
IPVanish places no limit on simultaneous devices. Keep it to your own devices and household, since sharing the login more widely voids the warranty.
What happens after 12 months?
The subscription ends and the app stops connecting. Buy another 12 months and you get a fresh account to sign in with.
Does it include the eSIM data?
IPVanish lists 3 GB of eSIM data on Essential. It is a feature of the IPVanish plan, so it comes with the account; we don't sell or top up eSIM data separately.
